God does not hum haw around in His word about what we are supposed to be doing today. He sent Jesus as an example.

Jesus wasn’t exaggerating when He said “in this world you will have trouble” (NIV), but He finished with “But be of good cheer!"

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve!
